Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Account Managerexperiencedin servicing high-net-worth accounts tojoinour growing Personal Lines team!AsaSenior Account Manager, your primary responsibilitieswill be servicing andmaintainingexisting accounts in our Personallinesdepartment. Additionally, you may be expected to upsell clients onadditionallines where possible.
In this role, you will:
Manage a book of insurance business, while acting with a high degree of independent discretion, autonomy, and decision-making
Provide professional, courteous service to our clients, carrier representatives, underwriters, business partners, and HUBcolleagues
Be responsible foraccount rounding and the development of new business asappropriateandin accordance withstandard practices, policies, andprocedures
Make major decisions independent of manager approval on the book for which you areresponsible
Oversee the preparation and implementation of all transactions, paperwork, and internal processing for assignedaccounts
Acquireunderstanding of clients’ insuranceobjectivesand critically analyze and compare insurance plans todeterminesuitability
Stay abreast of changes in the insurance industry and other external conditions that mayimpacttheir clients; makeappropriate recommendationsto clients in response to those changes independent of managerapproval
Act as liaison between clients and insurance carriers to resolve escalated complex service issues that require policy interpretation andexperience basedjudgment to resolve
May also negotiate with underwriters andcarriers
Troubleshoot claims and billingissues
Responsible for overall retention of accounts in assigned book ofbusiness
Develop new business from existing accounts and assigned leads, and contribute to meeting departmental production goals;identifyand follow-up on cross-selling opportunities whenappropriate
Manage, organize, and conduct client meetings whennecessary
•Appropriately document conversations with clients and carrier representatives and update all HUB computer systems and automated agency management systems when necessary; ensure the accuracy of data in those systems
Travel on company business asrequired
Prepare reports for management asrequired
Mentor and support Account Managers asneeded
Attend industry related continuing education training andcourses
What you offer us:
3-7years of experience anddemonstratedproficiencyin an insurance accountmanagement
Agency experience ispreferred
Preferably prior experience with highnet workaccounts
High School diploma or equivalent required
Currently licensed in good standing in required lines andstates
Current with all necessary CE credits in required lines andstates
Advanced professional designation highly desirable (e.g.AAI, ARM, CIC)
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Superior customer service and problem-solving skills
Demonstratedproficiencywith computer systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Office and automated agency management system(s)
Ability to work in a teamenvironment

Disclosure required under applicable law in California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, New Jersey, and Washington states: The expected salary range for this position is $85,000.00 $95,000.00 annually and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages: health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, FSA, HSA and 401(k) accounts, paid-time-off benefits such as vacation, sick, and personal days, and eligible bonuses, equity and commissions for some positions.
This is a hybrid role, requiring three days per week in the office.
