Pharmacy Technician

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence within your store. Technicians assist the pharmacy team to ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly, prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, and provide caring service that exceeds patient expectations. They demonstrate genuine care and contribute to a safe and inclusive culture where all people feel valued and empowered.

Responsibilities include following all company SOPs, pharmacy workflow procedures, contributing to positive patient experiences, completing inventory activities, embracing a growth mindset, complying with all relevant laws and CVS policies, and potentially supporting immunizations where permitted.

Required Qualifications:

• Compliance with state board of pharmacy requirements including age, education, and licensing or certification; minimum age 16 and high school diploma or equivalent if not otherwise mandated.
• Regular attendance including nights and weekends and ability to complete required training.
• Attention to detail, customer service skills, communication skills, mathematical reasoning, problem resolution skills, and physical ability to perform job duties.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in related customer service or medical settings.
• Flexibility to work across locations as needed.

Time Type: Part time (anticipated 29 weekly hours)

Pay Range: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour, dependent on experience, education, geography, and other factors.
