As a Plant Manufacturing Engineer (m/f/d) at our Hannover Li-Ion site, you will take ownership of critical manufacturing processes and drive their performance, stability, and continuous improvement in a highly automated and traceable production environment.
You will play an active role in shaping scalable Li-Ion manufacturing setups, working cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Controls. With increasing responsibility, you will lead improvement initiatives, contribute to industrialization activities, and support the development of future EMEA manufacturing standards.
Your structured analyses and clear, management-ready communication will directly influence decision-making and sustainable performance improvements.
The position will be based in our Li-Ion plant location in Hannover, Germany.
What you will do
As a Plant Manufacturing Engineer (m/f/d), your responsibilities will include:
Drive manufacturing performance
Own and improve performance of assigned production processes (e.g. scrap, downtime, stability)
Identify losses, perform root cause analysis, and drive sustainable corrective actions
Apply structured problem-solving methods to increase process capability and robustness
Execute and scale improvement initiatives
Take end-to-end responsibility for defined improvement initiatives and process optimizations
Lead implementation of process changes and equipment modifications in close collaboration with engineering and operations
Support industrialization and ramp-up activities for new or modified production equipment
Define technical requirements for tooling, fixtures, and equipment upgrades and coordinate external suppliers as needed
