Position General Description
Looking for an innovative and highly-skilled, personable professionals who are passionate about solution architecture technologies, to be based at Schneider Electric offices in Seville. The candidate will join to the Digital Grid (DG) Business Unit (BU), as part of Regional Solution Center of Spain, located at Schneider Electric's offices in Seville.
This Business Unit is responsible for Customer Projects Delivery of Operations Management (ADMS), Edge Solutions (Smart Metering) and Asset Management (GIS, GAA) Solutions developed by Schneider Electric as part of the EcoStruxure Grid for Utilities suite.
This job role is primarily based around the Schneider Electric 'Advanced Distribution Management System' suite of software. The Digital Grid Power Solution Lead will report to ADMS Solution Manager and will be part of the customer Project Delivery team, working in coordination with the Schneider Electric Project Manager.
Power Solution Lead represents one of the key roles in our project delivery which ensure that the Schneider Electric suite of software and solutions are designed, developed, and deployed to meet the end-user business requirements, efficiently and consistently minimizing cost and risk.

On-site and off-site cooperation with IT and power engineers from most advanced power utilities, gives you unique chance to work and exchange experiences with experts from leading IT consulting companies (IBM, Accenture, etc.). Alongside project execution you will demonstrate your vast knowledge and experience in ADMS product, architecture, infrastructure and security.
Position Responsibilities
• Act as Power Solution Lead for one or more ADMS projects, worldwide.
• Responsible for producing and maintaining detailed design documentation for power applications, OMS (Outage Management System) and WOM (Work Order Management System) applications.
• Working directly with our customers on challenging international projects worldwide (which may include business-related travel).
• Responsible for understanding and offering alternative options for the Customer Projects requirements in Power solution area of expertise.
• As a Project Core Team member, needs to be informed and aware of the project schedule, and track and report the progress of their tasks according to the schedule to PM.
• Participation in all phases of project delivery, which may include tendering phase, design, acceptance testing, and final commissioning of our solutions.
• Supporting customers in achieving their business goals by guiding and consulting them and (being their trusted advisor).
• Working with colleagues from Schneider Electric (both from Spain and abroad) engaged on projects, ensuring achieving project's goal and customer satisfaction.
• Work with colleagues from development teams on defining and prioritizing features requests from the customer to help ensure on-time delivery of defined scope.
• Responsible for providing the input to Test Manager about power applications from testing point of view, as well as testing concept for the area of expertise.
• Support other business organizations in their activities (e.g., support tendering/sales activities)
• Customer relationship and collaboration along the ADMS project lifecycle.
• On-site and off-site engagements during various phases of project execution (design, FAT and SAT testing, preparation and execution of Go Live cutover)
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, customers, and sub-contractors
• Helping Support and Maintenance team handle issues reported by customers in your area of expertise.
Position Requirements
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with deep knowledge on electrical networks.
Minimum Experience:1-3 years
Desirable domain areas: Technical experience in implementation of Electrical Utilities engineering software solutions such as SCADA Systems, Outage Management Systems (OMS), Distribution Management Systems (DMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), Generation Management Systems (GMS), Workflow Management Systems (WFMS), GIS Systems, Advance Metering Systems (AMI).
Mandatory Skills/Tools:
• Experience in software industry and/or software project delivery, mapping the relationships between Power solution functionalities with IT platform/infrastructure components (I.e. delivering electrical power engineer algorithms to fulfill customer requirements in ADMS system project delivery).
• Deep knowledge and experience on electrical power networks, not only European electrical networks (balance networks) but also American electrical networks (Unbalanced electrical networks).
• Experience working with complex Data Models implemented on SQL Server Database.
• Experience in requirement specification and software design (desirable to have experience in designing and developing architectural solutions for power solution applications)
• Capability in documentation, automatic testing, installation, and commissioning of software solutions.
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Teamwork, collaboration, and organizational skills (with the accent on efficient time management)
• Fluent in written and spoken in English is mandatory.
