Your Role
As Principal ML Engineer, you will be the technical visionary for personalization and optimization systems, defining ML architecture, solving complex challenges, and influencing ML strategy company-wide.
What You'll Do
- Design company-wide personalization architecture and strategy.
- Solve complex challenges such as cold start, exploration/exploitation, and real-time learning.
- Research and implement state-of-the-art ML techniques.
- Define ML standards and patterns across teams.
- Lead multi-quarter cross-functional initiatives.
- Mentor senior engineers and review technical decisions.
- Represent the company in external ML communities.

- 10+ years building ML systems with deep personalization expertise.
- Recognized ML expert with publications, patents, or industry impact.
- Experience architecting ML platforms serving billions of predictions.
- Track record of innovation in personalization systems.
- Expertise in deep learning, bandits, causal ML, graph methods.
- Ability to influence without authority and drive consensus.
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and executive audiences.
Technical Expertise Required

Compensation
Salary range from $160,000 to $250,000 with profit-sharing bonus and competitive benefits. Salary is aligned with market rates and dependent on company and personal performance.
