Job Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Implements and sustains BD Excellence work process for the manufacturing unit.

2.Identifiescritical equipmentsettingand creation of standards.

3. Creates technical knowledge for the manufacturing unit and transfers the knowledge to the operator and technical associates.

4. Coachesassociates oncontinuous improvement methodologies within the manufacturing unit.

5. Understands top losses within the manufacturing unit and develops and implements plans toeliminatelosses and drive OEE performance.

6. Responsible for manufacturing unit change control including validation activities, root cause analysis ofprioritized OEE losses, and quality events and deviations.

7.Leads the team in troubleshootingthe manufacturing unit related scrapand waste

8.Assist implementation of thetransfer ofprocess and product

9.To support the process safety improvement includesHealth and Safety risk analysis,waste reduction activities in the manufacturing

10.Otherduties asrequiredto support the needs of the business.

Deliverables:

• Ensures safety of all associates and quality of product.

• Ensures new manufacturing processes and process improvements meetManufacturing Unitobjectives.

• Ensures equipment is running efficiently and effectively.

• Analyzes current state of equipment efficiency to drive OEE improvement and sustainability.
