The Opportunity

Within Weir Software Solutions, this Santiago-based role focuses on Micromine Pitram across the Americas. You will work directly with mining operations to optimise fleet management systems that drive daily production decisions. This is a high-impact opportunity to bridge mining and technology—helping customers unlock real-time insights, improve efficiency, and influence how digital systems are adopted across complex operational environments.

The Impact you’ll have

• Influence real-time decisions that directly impact mine performance
• Drive adoption of technology in live, operational mining environments
• Partner with engineers and site leaders to solve complex challenges
• Shape how data is used to improve visibility, efficiency and outcomes
• Build trusted relationships across customers and internal teams
• Contribute to the evolution of mining technology in the field

What you need to succeed

• Degree in Mining Engineering, IT, Geology, Mechatronics or similar
• Hands-on underground mining or operational site experience
• Experience with mining systems, OT, or software implementation
• Working knowledge of databases and networking (SQL, Oracle etc.)
• Strong communication skills with confidence in client-facing roles
• Willingness to travel (25–30%) across the Americas and globally
