ERM is seeking a finance professional to join our global Digital Services business as a Project Accountant in Mexico City, Mexico. This individual will work closely with Partners and Project Managers to support successful project delivery, exceed client expectations, and drive positive business results.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including ERM Partners, Project Managers, client procurement and accounting personnel.
- Review contractual documents to ensure clarity and compliance with ERM policy and best practices.
- Manage the order to cash process: PO receipt, project setup, billing, collections, and revenue recognition, focusing on optimizing cash flow.
- Monitor and report project KPIs, ensuring execution aligns with approved models for maximum profitability.
- Coordinate global projects across international offices with multiple currencies and regional tax requirements.
- Apply business acumen and analytical skills to identify opportunities and solve problems.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong computer skills, including Excel and mid to high-level accounting software expertise.
- Excellent communication, strategic thinking, presentation, and people skills.
- Adept at collaboration and consensus building.
- Ability to work independently and manage large data sets while meeting deadlines.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
