The incumbent will manage all aspects of the project life cycle, ensuring the fulfillment of strategic initiatives for the University of Miami and the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. Responsibilities include assembling project teams, assigning tasks, managing schedules, and ensuring quality standards. Core functions involve workflow evaluations, data analysis, manuscript preparations, and effective communication of research program objectives. The role requires proficiency in multiple project management methodologies (waterfall, agile), creation and maintenance of project plans, facilitation of IT project governance, and leadership of cross-functional teams. The Project Manager will oversee multiple concurrent projects, manage risks, provide project status updates, and foster innovative solutions to project challenges. Strong knowledge of computing, software development environments, and scientific research is expected.
