Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of buy side operations concentrating on fixed income, equity, bank loan, swaps and derivative security creation and maintenance. Responsibilities include supporting multiple security types through manual and automated creation and maintenance processes, engaging with internal teams and external vendors, investigating and resolving security master data issues, monitoring dashboards and reports for data discrepancies, managing pricing sources, and providing functional coverage during high volume periods.

• Support security master data creation and maintenance across different systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and custodians to ensure data accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies and reconciliation breaks.
• Monitor and manage pricing sources and valuation discrepancies.
• Prioritize security master improvement initiatives and process improvements.
• Provide coverage for corporate actions and trade support as needed.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders and technology services.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Min 3 years experience in operations focusing on security master data at investment management firms or hedge funds.
• Experience with portfolio accounting and security master systems.
• Knowledge of Bloomberg security data fields, corporate actions and trade support.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate strategically with management.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 (base salary plus short-term incentive program)
