Ecolab is seeking a Quality Specialist to join our team in Carrollton, TX. As a Quality Specialist, you’ll play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations through real-time quality oversight, problem solving, and quality system execution. This position partners across functions to investigate issues, manage quality holds, support compliance activities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
Tactical Quality Execution (60%)
- Partner with production to provide real-time quality support on the manufacturing floor, escalating issues as needed
- Manage quality hold processes, including physical area oversight, ERP system accuracy, and cross-functional disposition coordination
- Support real-time material issue dispositioning with Quality Engineer and Quality Manager.
- Identify and escalate trends in scrap, blocked stock, or batch delays to drive investigation.
- Perform routine ERP system quality transactions.
- Support site-wide data collection to aid in root cause analysis and investigations.
- Document incoming supplier quality failures in etq and issue corrective action requests.
- Support customer complaint investigations through data collection and documentation.
Administrative & System Support (25%)
- Maintain records
- Help generate quality metrics and visual dashboards.
- Support documentation control (SOPs, training records, calibration records).
Laboratory Support (15%)
- Perform routine QC testing as needed (pH, viscosity, titrations, etc.).
- Document test results clearly and flag out-of-spec results.
- Support sample preparation and equipment upkeep during high-volume periods.
- Assist in lab compliance activities.
Position Details:
- Plant Location: Carrollton, TX
- Work Week & Shift: Monday - Thursday, 10:00am - 8:30pm & occasional Fridays based on business needs. Weekend rotation, though uncommon, may occasionally be necessary based on business needs.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience using Microsoft Office programs
- No immigration sponsorship available for this role
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in a scientific or technical field
- 3 years of Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience within a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- Strong written documentation and communication skills
