This position works out of our Menlo Park, CA location in the Structural Heart division.

AsanReceivingInspection Supervisor you will:Provide leadership to inspectors and technicians that support receiving, in-process and final inspection, tool inspection/qualifications and first article inspections.
What You’ll Work On
• Assuretimelyinspections that support materials, productreleasesand in-process inspections.
•Maintainstaff and equipment toassureappropriate technical capabilities.
• Monitor inspection procedures for effectiveness.
•Monitorcompliancetoappropriate regulatorystandards.
• Effectively communicate with and provide support to otherdepartmentsas necessary.
•Maintaina department culture of continuous improvement.
• Support all Companyinitiatives asidentifiedby management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.
•Complies withU.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operatingprocedures, processes, and task assignments. Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
Qualifications
Associates/Technical DegreeRequired
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Minimum5years of hands-onrelevant experienceincluding but not limited to the following:
Quality supervisory experience in the medical industry
Experience with quality systems auditing (desired)
ASQ certification in quality, Six Sigma, and/or lean manufacturing (desired)
Experience working in a broader enterprise or cross-division business unit model (preferred)
Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment
Ability to work both within a team and independently in a fast-paced, changing environment
Ability toleverageand engage others toaccomplishprojects
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at multiple organizational levels
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlinesin a timely manner
Strong organizational, follow-up skills, and attention to detail

The base pay for this position is
$85,600.00 – $156,000.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
