Job Details

The Therapeutic Recreation Aide implements diversional therapeutic recreation programs for individual and group service for patients and their families. The Therapeutic Recreation Aide helps prepare patients and the environment for treatment and assists the therapist in performing treatment under his/her direction. This position generally requires providing service to AD, A, O, F age populations in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.

Job Description

High School diploma or equivalent required. Enrolled in Bachelor’s Degree Program in Therapeutic Recreation or an Associate’s Degree in related field strongly preferred. Two years experience in activity leadership with individuals who are physically disabled or equivalent required.
