About the Role:
The Assistant Store Manager position is critical to our success, providing support to the Management Team in all areas of operations management and team leadership. You will drive the store's daily performance, inspire a team of employees, and ensure seamless customer service delivery. By managing inventory, enhancing visual merchandising, and executing strategic sales management initiatives, you'll directly contribute to the store's profitability and overall success.
Compensation:
- Starting Rate: $21.19 per hour
- Hourly Range: $21.19 - $22.49

Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to achieve sales goals, provide outstanding customer service, and maintain a positive work environment.
- Visual Merchandising: Ensure product displays and store layouts meet Skechers' standards for style and innovation.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, manage restocking, and organize the sales floor for a seamless shopping experience.
- Operations Management: Oversee store systems including scheduling, opening/closing, and operational procedures; occasionally lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs.
- Sales Management: Implement strategies to grow revenue, set expectations, and exceed sales targets.
- Problem-Solving: Address operational challenges and resolve customer concerns to maintain satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and operational tasks.
- Experience in sales management with proven results.
- Ability to create a respectful, inclusive, and safe environment for employees and customers.
- Exceptional team leadership and communication skills.
- Acts with confidentiality and urgency.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Retail, restaurant, or hospitality leadership experience preferred but not required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age at application.
