Position: EPC Key Account Manager (Sales)
Location: Japan
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join our team, focusing on the growing segments in Japan for both International and Domestic EPCs to cover the electro intensive segments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction through our innovative solutions. The candidate is accountable for the sales and promotion of a broad range of solutions, offers and services in coordination with the regional and country power systems team.
The candidate is expected to work with both the global and regional the segments team to create a best-in-class customer experience. The candidate will be responsible for prescribing solutions within turnkey projects, ranging from simple equipment to fully engineered solutions, with a strong focus on the electro intensive and heavy industry segments. Additionally, they will drive collaboration across various teams to ensure cohesive and effective execution of strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in the relevant sectors to understand their needs and challenges.
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, focusing on account penetration and growth within assigned territories.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and to position our offerings effectively.
- Solution Selling: Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer requirements, leveraging our portfolio of products and services.
- Project Management: Support the execution of projects and initiatives with the project execution team , ensuring alignment with client expectations and timely delivery.
- Reporting and Forecasting: Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports to track progress against targets and inform strategic decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product management, and technical teams to ensure alignment in messaging and solution delivery.
Qualifications:
- The successful candidate should have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering/business or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 5 years or more experience in working with relevant End-Users, Consultants, EPCs, Contractors . Proven experience in account management or sales, preferably within the related segments.
- Strong understanding of industry trends, technologies, and competitive landscape. Ability to analyse data, generate insights, and drive strategic initiatives. Ability to build a sustainable and reliable relationship with the customer.
- Specific knowledge: MV & LV electrical equipment, transformers, protection & control, digital automation. Thorough knowledge of Schneider Electric offers and solution will be a plus. Experience in project sales and project management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills . Good command of spoken and written English. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and s trong presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently. Able to work under pressure.
