
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Literacy Initiatives Sales Supervisor leads and develops a team of Inside Sales Representatives to achieve revenue goals through strategic sales planning, performance coaching, and pipeline management. This role leverages data analysis, market insights, and cross-functional collaboration to identify growth opportunities, execute targeted sales and marketing campaigns, and drive continuous business improvement. The Sales Supervisor fosters a high-performance sales culture by providing ongoing employee development, monitoring key performance metrics, and implementing effective sales strategies. Success in this position requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to translate data into actionable plans that support both individual and organizational growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Literacy Initiatives Sales Supervisor is responsible for achieving production goals for a staff of 8-10 Inside Sales Representatives.
Establish objectives and action steps to achieve sales goals.
Identify New Sales and Marketing opportunities
Create sales campaigns utilizing data and market analysis
Evaluate sales campaigns and make recommendations for enhancements
Work with the marketing team to develop materials and resources based on marketing trends
Utilize Salesforce, Power BI, call data and other reporting to evaluate employee performance and develop a personal plan to support each person’s continued growth and success
Provide ongoing employee development through coaching
Monitor sales rep phone calls for effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
Meet regularly with sales reps to evaluate opportunity and pipeline health and compliance
Present pipeline updates and sales forecast to the Sales Director on a weekly basis.
Remain informed on community based organizations, and the Educational Marketplace, including teaching trends
Implement company policies in a fair and equitable manner including performance evaluations and performance improvement
Create ongoing daily, weekly, and monthly sales contests.
Partner with Literacy Initiatives Sr. Supervisor and other Inside Sales Supervisors on strategic goals, opportunity management and office policies and procedures.
Cross-functional collaboration with sales adjacent departments and associates to support the needs of the LI business.

HOW YOU CAN FIT (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s Degree
4+ years of Inside Sales or Education Management experience preferred
Ability to develop a strong sales culture and team environment while working with individuals of various sales abilities to achieve goals
Experience in developing sales and marketing plans
Ability to synthesize data from multiple reports and develop actionable insights to drive decision-making and strategic growth
Builds high-trust teams, effectively coaching and delegating, and aligning team goals with the organization's broader vision
Adapts quickly, displays change management skills, and remains agile in dynamic markets and work environments
