We are looking for a Security Team Leader who understands that great security is not about presence alone, but about discretion, awareness, and calm authority. You will lead our security team in ensuring that our House remains a space where members and guests feel completely at ease, protected, and welcomed at all times.
This role requires someone who can balance vigilance with warmth, structure with intuition, and authority with understated service.
What You’ll Do
Lead and guide the security team across daily operations and shifts, setting the standard for professionalism and discretionEnsure seamless access control for members, guests, visitors, and vendors, in line with House standardsMaintain a constant, unobtrusive awareness of the environment to ensure safety without disrupting the member experienceOversee CCTV monitoring, patrol routines, and all security systems with precision and responsibilityAct as the calm first responder in any incident, emergency, or sensitive situation, ensuring swift and composed resolutionPrepare clear, accurate incident and shift reports, maintaining complete confidentiality at all timesWork closely with Front of House and Operations teams to ensure smooth coordination during peak periods and eventsSupport training and development of the security team, fostering a culture of attentiveness, respect, and service mindsetLiaise with external authorities when required, representing the House with professionalism and discretionWhat We’re Looking For
Prior experience in security supervision, ideally within luxury hospitality, premium clubs, or high-end environmentsA calm, composed presence with the ability to manage situations with discretion and authorityStrong observational skills and instinctive awareness of people and environmentA natural leader who leads by example rather than instructionExcellent communication skills with a respectful and service-oriented approachHigh levels of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalismAbility to remain grounded and decisive in high-pressure situationsWhy Join Soho House
