Role Overview:
The Senior Account Manager serves as the primary account manager for 25-45 large accounts, leading account strategy and implementation for corporate partners throughout the partnership lifecycle. The role manages a significant portion of loan volume from partner programs, develops new strategies for partner expansion, and creates detailed engagement plans including onboarding and reengagement materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage 25-45 large accounts with $100k+ and/or 10M+ customers, leading strategy and implementation.
- Manage deployment of funds that represent 40% of loan volume from partner programs.
- Develop strategies to expand and deepen partnerships through funding and product opportunities.
- Create customer engagement campaigns and onboarding materials.
- Lead product training sessions and develop instructional materials.
- Conduct user surveys and provide technical and tactical support during campaigns.
- Identify process improvements and work cross-functionally to enhance the customer experience.
- Strategize with Senior Director to improve lending programs and partner experience.
Required Qualifications:
- 5-7 years experience in growth-oriented organizations, ideally in account management, partnership, marketing, or tech support.
- 4-5 years in customer/partnership roles involving relationship building and delivering business outcomes.
- 3-4 years experience leading integrated marketing campaigns and related projects.
- Experience launching technical products, including asset development and training plans.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence, and excellent communication.
- Proficiency with Salesforce and analytic/data tools.
- Independent, trustworthy, and a strong team player.
- Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven record building cause marketing campaigns or upselling corporate accounts.
- Interest and articulate understanding of international development and microfinance.
- Experience working or living internationally, especially in emerging markets.
- History of volunteer work and commitment to nonprofits.
- Experience working with remote teams using Slack and Asana.
