About the Role
Spread Products APAC Business Execution is looking for a highly energized, dynamic professional ready to join a fast-paced, world-leading financial services organization. This is a meaningful opportunity to sit at the heart of the Spread Products business, working closely with the regional Business Execution team to support day-to-day operations, governance, and strategic initiatives across the APAC franchise.
The individual will liaise extensively with Spread Products Desks and support functions including RISK, FIN, ICRM, TECH, OPS, etc. to help develop and deliver on business strategy. The role spans a broad product set covering secondary sales and trading of credit and asset-backed products, as well as primary syndicate and lending activities.
The successful candidate will be a proactive problem-solver who can independently manage deliverables, drive control enhancements, and contribute meaningfully to business growth initiatives across Sales, Trading, and Financing.
Key Responsibilities
Business Execution & Controls
- Work with Regional Management and Business Execution leadership to enhance, implement, and deliver key controls and regulatory commitments across the APAC Spread Products business.
- Maintain and monitor the controls environment, identifying new risks and ensuring proper controls are in place for specific functions.
- Coordinate and manage Internal Audits and Control Functions' testing; act as a primary point of contact for internal and external reviews, providing timely and well-prepared responses.
- Review support function processes and challenge procedures that are not consistent with global practices.
Project Management & Business Initiatives
- Take ownership of responsibilities within larger projects, reporting on performance and achievements to the project manager and/or business sponsor.
- Manage the implementation of new product capabilities or new country expansions.
- Support expansion and migration initiatives being transitioned to the team.
- Drive business initiatives and technology change within the business, covering identified opportunities in Sales, Trading, Financing and Technology.
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships across Spread Products APAC Desks and Business Execution,
- Partner with multiple functional areas to establish and maintain robust governance and oversight of the control framework
Qualifications
- 5 years of relevant Markets experience across roles in Finance, Risk, Operations, or Front Office.
- Strong evidence of relevant credit products or Spread Products experience.
- Demonstrated project management skills and experience delivering change in large institutions, including complex front-to-back programs.
Skills
- Strong credit markets knowledge and front-to-back understanding of flows.
- Strong commercial awareness of the product, with the ability to combine this with technical solutions and ideas.
- Ability to identify and manage dependencies across large parts of the front office and support infrastructure.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills — both written and verbal.
- Strong planning, organizational, and project management skills.
- Understanding of Financial Markets and how they are traded.
- AI literacy and interest in process simplification and tooling enhancements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree / University degree or equivalent experience required.
