Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing SSRS reports, Power BI dashboards, and SQL Server queries to support data-driven decision-making. The candidate will improve reporting and analytical capabilities, work in a fast-paced third-party logistics environment, and possess strong relationship-building skills. They should develop application software expertise and assist business users in maximizing data use from WMS applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- SSRS Reports Development: Design and maintain SSRS reports, optimize performance, and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Power BI Dashboard Development: Create interactive Power BI dashboards with data modeling and DAX calculations, ensuring accuracy and security.
- SQL Server Development & Optimization: Write and tune complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and enhance database performance.
- Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze business data for trends and develop ad-hoc queries and reports.
- Collaboration & Documentation: Work with business and IT teams, document processes, provide training, and mentor junior team members.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in BI development including SQL Server, SSRS, and Power BI.
- Strong expertise in T-SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
