This Senior Cost Financial Analyst role is based in Milan, Ohio, and is a high-impact role within the plant management team focusing on continuous improvement. The key focus areas include financial leadership supporting manufacturing operations, sales inventory and operations planning, and sourcing functions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with plant management to drive cost reductions and productivity improvements.
• Develop financial operating plans and manage monthly financial forecasting.
• Perform month-end and year-end closings and report financial results.
• Evaluate capital spending projects financially.
• Assist in development of plant BOMs, routings, and standard costs.
• Reconcile relevant general ledger accounts.
• Improve financial processes and procedures.
• Conduct financial and strategic analyses to support business decisions and investments.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis on business trends and forecast modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or equivalent with minimum 7 years manufacturing cost accounting experience.
• Preferred experience with SAP or other major ERP systems.
• Strong communication, financial acumen, analytical, problem-solving, and business partnership skills.
• Proficient with Excel and Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to work independently and within teams and engage at all organizational levels.
