This role is based in our corporate office on Nuns' Island, Montreal, QC on a hybrid work model (Tuesday to Thursday in the office), and reports to the Manager, Financial Accounting. Job Summary
Reporting to the Manager, Financial Accounting, the Senior Financial Accountant has a central role in maintaining the integrity of the financial information for IPEX North American Group of operations. As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will ensure the timely and accurate recording of information in compliance with IFRS accounting standards, and drive process improvements that maximize efficiency of the accounting cycle.

Principal Responsibilities
Qualifications & experience
• CPA Designation
• 3 – 5 years of accounting experience
• Proactive, and a problem-solver
• Excellent organizational skills, thorough and detail-orientated, and self-motivated.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, multiple currencies and multiple entity environment
• Prior experience working in external audit (Big 4)
• Experience working within a global setting or in a manufacturing environment, an asset
• Experience with US and Canadian regulations (Sales Taxes, Payroll, and
Reporting), an asset
• Knowledge of Accounting Systems/ERP (SAP S/4HANA as an asset)
• Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Adaptable and flexible in a changing environment
• Bilingual (Fluent in English and French)
