Senior/Lead Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), Public Sector

Salesforce is seeking a Senior/Lead Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) for their Public Sector team, specializing in the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge AI and enterprise business solutions for mission-critical operations within the U.S. Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and Aerospace sectors. This role involves acting as a technical lead on high-profile engagements, collaborating directly with end-users, driving innovation on the Agentforce platform, and overseeing the full technical lifecycle of bespoke AI systems including Large Language Models and intelligent agents. Responsibilities include debugging, rapid prototyping, implementing best practices, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring compliance with government security clearance requirements. Candidates must be U.S. citizens eligible for federal background investigations and clearances, possess at least 8 years of relevant experience, have proficiency in programming languages like JavaScript, Java, Python, or Apex, and demonstrate expertise in AI/LLM technologies, data integration, and Salesforce platforms.

Qualifications
