Make your mark in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)
As well as helping customers to manage risks, AIG faces a wide array of our own risks every day. The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team partners across the AIG organization to inform strategic decision-making and to facilitate rational risk-taking that drives profitable growth. ERM ensures we have the right tools, processes and systems in place to identify, measure and manage our risks. As an ERM colleague, you can enhance your acumen by helping to shape and support our approach to risk.
How you will create an impact
The Senior Manager, Risk Events and Issues Management is a senior Line 2 role responsible for the end-to-end oversight of operational risk events and risk and control issues across Australia and New Zealand. The role will lead the enhancement and operationalisation of the risk event and issues management frameworks and registers, quality-assures event investigation and issue identification led by Line 1, tracks remediation through to closure, and provides reporting and escalation to the Chief Risk Officer, ANZ (CRO) and relevance governance committees. This is a 12-month engagement reporting directly to the CRO, with scope to also support broader risk maturity initiatives alongside other Line 2 Enterprise Risk team members as needed.
