Role Overview
This role is responsible for driving growth of Schneider Electric's software and digital solutions
portfolio across India, including Energy, Industrial and Building segments.
The position focuses on leading consultative, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and positioning
software as a key driver of digital transformation, operational efficiency and sustainability
outcomes.

Energy: PME, EPO, ETAP Real-Time, Substation Automation (EPAS)Industrial Software: AVEVA Plant SCADA, AVEVA System Platform, AVEVA MES, AVEVAUnified Operations Center, EcoStruxure Process Expert, EcoStruxure Automation Expert
Building Management SystemKey Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
Drive end-to-end software sales cycles from opportunity creation to closure acrossassigned territories/accounts
Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities to meet order and salesgrowth targets
Lead complex, multi-stakeholder deals involving Customers, Consultants,Contractors, EcoXpert Partners, System Integrators etc.
2. Consultative & Solution Selling
Understand customer business challenges and position software-led solutions (digitaltwin, analytics, automation) as business enablers
Drive solution shaping, technical qualification and value articulationWork closely with Region/ Branch Sales, Prescription & Business Division teams fordemos, architectures and technical proposals
3. Account & Customer Leadership
Develop and execute account-specific software growth strategiesBuild strong relationships with CXOs, IT/OT leaders, plant heads and engineeringteams
Identify expansion opportunities within existing and new customersGeneral
4. Partner & Ecosystem Engagement
Collaborate with System Integrators, EcoXpert partners, Consultants and otherchannel partners to drive execution & new opportunities
Work with internal teams (Regional/ Branch sales, Solution Architects/ SAEs/PAEs,Marketing) to shape winning proposals
5. Market Development
Track market trends, competitor positioning and evolving customer needsPreferred Domain Expertise

Qualifications & Experience
Education: Engineering background is a mustAt-least 5 years of experience in software sales, industrial automation or digitalsolutions, preferably from the same industry
Proven experience in enterprise or consultative sellingStrong ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholdersGood understanding of industrial/energy domains and customer workflowsExperience working with partners or ecosystem-driven sales models
