This is a full-time fixed-term position until August 2026 at Clarendon Clinic, East Melbourne. The role is for a Senior Mental Health Clinician within the allied health team focusing on homeless outreach psychiatric services. The role involves working with clients who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, suffering serious mental illness and disabilities, using a recovery-oriented Strengths Model of Case Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Work within the Strengths Model of recovery-oriented practice.
- Build therapeutic alliances with consumers, family, and carers, involving them in care planning and evaluation.
- Undertake assessment and deliver targeted interventions to consumers with complex mental health needs.
- Work a 7-day rotation roster.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in mental health.
- Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (except for Social Work).
- Relevant postgraduate qualification in mental health.
- Current Victorian driver's license and National Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain).
