About the job
Wearelooking foraSeniorBackend.NET Developertojoinour PlatformServers teamlocatedin ourwonderfulofficelocatedin Hellerup(a suburb ofCopenhagen). You will help usstrengthen our fintech platform, where reliability, correctness, andlong-termmaintainabilityareof utmost importance.Your job will bebuilding andmaintainingintegrations inbackend systems, developing secure APIs, and ensuring the stability of services.
You will work on systems that must remain operational, auditable, and scalable over long lifecycles, balancing new feature development with maintenance and continuous improvement of existing services.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, andmaintainbackend services using C# and .NETframework
Build, evolve, and supportOpenAPI‑basedservices used by internal teams and external partners
Take responsibility for production systems, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and incidentfollow‑ups
Leverage the power of AI tooling and agentic engineeringtechniques
Maintain and extendKafka‑basedevent streaming solutions with a focus on reliability and data consistency
Work with SQL databases, ensuring data integrity, performance, and traceability
Improveexitingcode and systems through refactoring and incremental modernization
Collaborate with product, compliance, and DevOps teams to ensure systems meet fintech regulatory and operational requirements
Contribute to architectural decisions with an emphasis on stability, scalability, and operational excellence

Your profile
You are a seasoned backend engineer who thrives in complexenvironments where uptime and data correctness areafirst-classcitizen.You'vebuilt andmaintainedsystems that real businesses depend on, and you understand that great software is measured not just by what itdoes, but by how confidently it can beoperated, audited, and evolved.You'reenergized by hard problems — making a critical path moreresilient ormodernizing a legacy service without disruptingwhat'salready working. You bring both technical depth and the judgment to know when "good enough" is the right call and when itisn't!
Required Qualifications
Extensive experience as a Senior .NET Developer working with C#
Strong background in building andmaintainingRESTful APIs
Advanced SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases in production environments
Solid experience using Entity Framework / EF Core
Experience with Kafka or similar messaging/event‑drivenplatforms
Proven experiencemaintainingbackend servicesthat runin the cloud (AKS) as well as on-premises (Kuberneteson-prem,Windows Server)
Strong understanding of system observability, debugging, and performance optimization. We use the ELK stacktogether withPrometheusandGrafana
Experience withAzure DevOps Serveror otherCI/CD pipelines intightlyregulated environments
Ability to work with existing systems while introducing improvements safely and incrementallybehind feature flags
Big Plus / Nice to Have
Background inwhite‑labelingandmulti‑tenantB2B fintech solutions
Experience using AI tooling to accelerate development tasks (a.k.a. agenticdevelopment)
Experience managinglargeconfigurations and deployments
Familiarity withcompliance‑drivendevelopment (e.g., auditability, traceability, rollback safety)
Experience operating systems with high availability and low tolerance for downtime
