About the role
We are seeking a Senior Principal Product Manager to lead strategy, vision, and execution for Content Discovery at Warner Bros. Discovery. This is a senior individual contributor leadership role with broad influence across product, engineering, data science, design, editorial, marketing, analytics, and executive stakeholders.
In this role, you will shape the next generation of discovery experiences and services that help users find the right content at the right moment. You will define the strategic direction for a critical product domain, identify high-value customer and business problems, and drive a portfolio of initiatives that improve how users discover and choose content across our global streaming products.
This role requires both strategic range and technical depth. You will operate across near-term optimization and long-term innovation, including evaluating how the latest generation of frontier models can re-imagine our content discovery algorithms, user understanding, and decisioning systems. You will help define where these models can create meaningful step-function improvements, where hybrid approaches are required, and how to bring those capabilities into production in a scalable, measurable, and responsible way.
Your work will influence core customer experiences on a global scale and will be visible to senior leaders across the company.
The ideal candidate
The ideal candidate has deep experience leading product strategy for ML-driven consumer products at scale, particularly in content discovery, search, recommendations, personalization, ranking, or related domains. You have a strong track record of defining strategy in ambiguous spaces, aligning senior stakeholders, and translating complex technical capabilities into products that drive measurable customer and business impact.
You are equally comfortable setting long-term vision, debating technical tradeoffs with engineering and data science, and using experimentation and analysis to sharpen product direction. You bring strong product judgment, high standards, and a clear point of view on how to build simple, effective experiences on top of sophisticated systems.
You also have a forward-looking perspective on how frontier AI models can reshape discovery experiences. You understand both the promise and the practical constraints of applying these models to real-world consumer products, and you can distinguish durable product opportunities from short-lived hype.
What you will do
- Define and drive the product strategy for Content Discovery, aligning long-term vision with company goals, user needs, and business priorities.
- Own a multi-horizon roadmap spanning foundational platform investments, user experience improvements, and next-generation discovery capabilities.
- Lead the evaluation and application of the latest frontier models to re-imagine how we understand content, understand user intent and taste, and generate more relevant, contextual, and adaptive discovery experiences.
- Identify where frontier models can materially improve search, recommendations, personalization, ranking, merchandising, and emerging conversational or assistive discovery experiences.
- Partner closely with engineering, data science, design, analytics, editorial, and marketing to translate strategy into product bets, execution plans, and successful launches.
- Identify and quantify customer pain points and business opportunities through research, experimentation, market understanding, and data analysis.
- Define product principles, success metrics, and experimentation frameworks to guide prioritization and measure impact.
- Drive a user-centered approach to discovery, improving relevance, clarity, usability, and overall customer satisfaction across surfaces and devices.
- Communicate product vision, priorities, tradeoffs, progress, and results clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive shifts, and advances in AI and machine learning, and translate those signals into product direction and business advantage.
- Raise the quality bar for product thinking, experimentation, and cross-functional decision-making across the broader discovery portfolio.
Qualifications- 15+ years of product management experience, including significant experience in senior-level product leadership roles.
- Deep expertise in content discovery, search, recommendations, personalization, ranking, or related ML-driven consumer systems.
- Demonstrated success defining product strategy and leading complex, cross-functional initiatives that drive engagement, satisfaction, and business growth.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $238,455.00 - $442,845.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
