Hitachi Energy Slovakia is seeking a talented and motivated Secondary Engineer to support the design and development of electrical engineering systems. In this role, you will focus on secondary engineering and contribute to the reliability and performance of our innovative solutions.
Job Responsibilities
Assist in the design and development of secondary systems for auxiliary, control, and protection applications in LV, MV, and HV substations• Perform detailed analyses and simulations to validate system performance and identify potential issues
• Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, design reports, and testing procedures
• Collaborate with primary engineering teams to integrate secondary systems and troubleshoot interfaces
• Participate in system commissioning, testing, and on-site support
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization and evaluation of new technologies
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies
• Perform maintenance and diagnostic checks of existing secondary engineering systems
Job Qualifications
Master’s degree in Electrical Power Engineering• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, ideally with exposure to secondary systems
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and design methodologies
• Proficiency in engineering tools and software (e.g., CAD, simulation tools)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Basic knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations

€2,600 per month
Plus an annual bonus of 15%. The stated gross monthly salary represents the minimum starting level. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and will be discussed during the personal interview.
