Yourexpertisewill be crucial in crafting the future of Adobe's industry-leadingsoftware.
What You'll Do
Define test strategies for new features,determiningwhat to cover manually and what to automate.Conduct detailed testing of new features, considering how editorswilluse them.
Perform cross-platform testing on macOS and Windows, including varying hardware configurations.
Develop and manage test cases, scripts, and automated tests, including using the latest AI toolsto create custom testing solutions.
Write clear, reproducible bug reports with detailed steps,anticipatedversus actual results, logs, and crash data.Verify fixes and perform regression testing before releases.
Provide product feedback on quality and usability, contributing to release readiness decisions, including collaborating with departments outside of Engineering.
Work closely with ourcustomers both online and in person to capture feedback and diagnose issues.
What you need to succeed
Proficiencywith Adobe Premiere(or another non-linear editing platform)and familiarity with Adobe’svideo and audio tools.
Understanding ofreal-world editorial workflows and performance factors.
Curiosity and a desire to learn aboutnew technologiesfor software engineering and the technology industry.
Problem-solving skills withan attentionto detail.
Good communicationskills.
A bachelor’s degree in computer science or TV/Film/Media,or,3 years relevant practical experiencein media orpost production.
