At Uber, we are reimagining the way the world moves for the better. The Merchant Experience Team is the engine room of Uber Eats Japan, tasked with building a future-ready operational engine that drives scalable business performance.
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Strategy & Operations Manager to lead our Process Excellence vertical. In this role, you are an operational architect who views process optimization and vendor performance as critical levers for merchant success. You will design the operational infrastructure, workflows, and stakeholder ecosystems that power the Uber Eats in Japan.
What You'll Do
- Process Excellence & Workflow Architecture: Design, scale, and optimize the foundational systems and automated workflows that govern our operations. You will identify operational bottlenecks, eliminate friction in the merchant journey, and build scalable, repeatable processes from scratch.
- Strategic Vendor Excellence: Build and oversee a performance-driven vendor governance framework. You will manage relationship strategies for critical third-party partners, establishing quality standards, KPIs, and feedback loops to ensure they meet Uber's high standards.
- Cross-Functional "Dot Connector": Act as the central hub aligning internal stakeholders-including Sales, Finance, Operations, and regional partners like the APAC Procurement team-to ensure seamless end-to-end execution.
