We’re looking for candidates who are willing to learn semiconductor manufacturing domain knowledge, are passionate in creating innovative software/system solutions to shape our manufacturing to produce better product, improve productivity, improve energy efficiency to reduce environmental impact and more.

As a Software Development Engineer at Micron you will configure, develop, maintain and support Micron and third-party applications. You will create and analyze software specifications, research, design, develop, document, modify, and support software throughout the development life cycle. You can demonstrate the functional and technical skills necessary to switch between development technologies and merge them to deliver the best solution. You have a proven ability to create quality software and participate in quality improvement efforts. You will provide solutions that create business value while at the same time minimizing negative impact through defects, downtime, or performance degradation

We value engineers who are curious about practical AI adoption and can leverage company-approved AI tools to work smarter, speed up analysis, development, testing, and documentation—while applying sound judgment to validate outputs and ensuring compliance with data security and confidentiality requirements.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Leverage company-approved AI-assisted tools to maximize productivity and quality (e.g., accelerate requirements analysis, solution design, development, test creation, documentation, and troubleshooting), while applying engineering judgment to validate outputs and following company security, target="_blank">hrsupport_sg@micron.com
