As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within Neovest, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firms business objectives. Job responsibilities include executing software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting; creating secure, high-quality production code; producing architecture and design artifacts; analyzing large data sets; identifying patterns to improve systems; and contributing to communities of practice. Required skills encompass formal training or certification in software development, 3+ years of experience in building front-end applications with C#/.Net and WPF, knowledge of software design approaches and UX patterns, expertise in React and Flux component design, experience with code quality and testing frameworks, familiarity with development and debugging in large corporate environments, understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, agile methodologies, and technical knowledge in areas like cloud and security. Preferred qualifications include experience in the Capital Markets industry and exposure to cloud technologies.
