Sr. Business Analyst, Marketing

ROLE OVERVIEW

LendingTree is seeking aSr. Business Analyst to support our fast-growing Marketing group. This roleis responsible fordelivering actionable insights through strong analytical execution, clear storytelling, and close partnership with business stakeholders.

As a Business Analyst, you will independently own analyses for a defined business area, assess business problems, collect and analyze the right data, and translate findings into insights that drive measurable business outcomes.You will partner closely with Marketing teams todiscover and remove operational bottlenecks to drive revenue growth - performing deep analysis into technical systems andbuildingreportsthatgive clarity to these complex systems.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Analytics & Insights Delivery

• Deliver >

• Identifypatterns, trends, and anomalies in campaign and partner performance and translate findings into clear recommendations.

• Assess business situations, define analytical problems, anddeterminetheappropriate dataandmethodologyto address them.

Marketing & Advertising Support

• Serve as the primary analytics partner for theMarketing group, supporting day-to-day decision-making and strategic initiatives.

• Conduct detailed audits ofadvertising platformstoidentifyoptimization opportunities and inefficiencies.

• Support strategicinnovationprojectsby providing ongoing performance analysis and insight.

Measurement & Experimentation

• Track and evaluate the results of business initiatives todeterminewhether outcomes were successful.

• Establish baseline performance metrics and KPIs to measure campaign success and year-over-year growth.

Technical Execution

• Write efficient,accurateSQL queriesinSnowflaketo extract and analyze large, complex datasets.

• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting andanalyses.

• Partner with engineering and product teams to understand data structures, resolve data questions, and reduce ad-hoc analytical load on engineers.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proactively surface risks and opportunities that mayimpactperformance or scalability.

• Contribute to analytics best practices, documentation, and standardization within the Business Analytics team.

Immediate Focus Areas

• Provide support for deep-dive analysis ofadvertising campaign performance.

• Build andmaintainfoundational dashboards to track campaign efficiency, ROI, and incremental VMD.

• Partner with Marketing stakeholders to understand priorities, workflows, and pain points.

• Deliver actionable recommendations that drive improvements in performance and operational efficiency.

Key Metrics & Business Impact

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• 3-5 years of experience in business analytics, data analytics, or a related role.

• StrongproficiencyinSQL, with hands-on experience querying data inSnowflake.

• Proven experience delivering insights that influence business decisions.

• Ability to leverage Ai tools to gather data and perform advanced analysis.

• Strong communicationskills with the ability to translate data into clear business narratives.

Preferred

• Experience with Google and Meta ad data.

• Experience with dashboarding and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).

• Experience with python and data science methodologies.

• Experience partnering with product or engineering teams.

The base pay range for this position in Seattle/New York/Colorado/California is $95,000-115,000 however, base pay offered may vary depending on internal factors, job-related knowledge, and experience.
