Compensation
Hourly base pay rate is $34.66 - $51.97/hour. The hourly base rate may vary based on location and candidate qualifications. Additional compensation such as commission and incentives may be available.
Job Description
The Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician performs licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light and advanced repairs, and advanced diagnostics on light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks and trailers in a mobile/field environment. This role is a lead position on jobsites, acting as a consultant for customers and providing advanced diagnostics support to other technicians.
Duties include scheduled maintenance, minor and advanced repairs, diagnostics, road testing, parts inventory management, client communication, documentation, compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining company service vehicles.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED with 3 years related experience or equivalent combination
- 3 years experience with refrigerated equipment
- Possession of necessary hand tools
- OEM training/certifications preferred
- Must comply with DOT regulations including physical and background screenings
- Valid driver’s license and at least 21 years old
- Certifications required or to be obtained within 18 months: ASE T8 (PMI), ASE 608/609
- Preferred certifications include ASE T2 through T7, ASE A8, ASE L1, ASE L2
