Sr Treasury Analyst

Waste Connections is looking for aSrTreasury Analyst to join our corporate team in the Woodlands, TX

Key Responsibilities/ Areas of Accountability:

• Updatedaily cash management reports;analyze and prepare short term cash

• Prepare documents forTreasuryactivities such as wires, confirmations, borrowing notices, investments;

• Coordinate documentation for opening, closing, and updating corporate bank accounts and services, whilemaintainingcurrent bank account registry and signatories;

• Support the treasury cash management system, including review of account balances and borrowing capacity along with consideration towards foreign exchange impacts;

• Arrange letters of credit and standby trust agreements;

• Prepare month-end accounting entries andmaintainvarious supporting schedules

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Accounting,AccountsReceivable/Payable, and Tax.

• Support external and internal audit documentation requests

• Other duties as requested by management

Technical/ Professional Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business administrationrequired

• 5+years of treasury experience particularly within a corporate treasury

• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and analytical skills

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate with various levels of management

• Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines with attention to detail and accuracy
