The Role:
Responsible formaintainingcleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all kitchen and food service areas. This position supports food and beverage operations by operating dishwashing equipment, cleaning kitchen facilities, and ensuring all equipment andservice waremeet health and safety standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate andmaintaindishwashing equipment to cleanchina, glassware, silverware, cookware, and food service equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all food and beverage preparation and service areas, including main kitchen, concessions areas, storage rooms, and back-of-house spaces.
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, workstations, floors, and surfacesin accordance withhealth and safety standards.
Maintain and organize inventory of small wares, utensils, and kitchen supplies.
Assistwith the setup, breakdown, and transport of food service equipment and supplies for events.
Safely use cleaning chemicals and supplies following proper procedures and safety guidelines.
Remove trash, recycling, and waste from kitchen and food service areas.
Maintain safe and sanitary working conditions for kitchen and food service staff.
Support kitchen and food service teams to ensure efficient operations during events.
Report equipment issues or maintenance needs to supervisors.
Follow company policies, food safety standards, and workplace safety procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previousexperience in food service, stewarding, kitchen operations, or hospitality preferred.
Experience operating dishwashing equipment or working in a commercial kitchen environment is a plus.
Basic knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety practices preferred.
Skills and Abilities
Ability to follow sanitation, safety, and food handling standardsin accordance withlocal health regulations.
Strong teamwork skills and ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and food service staff.
Ability to follow directions and complete tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment following established procedures.
Ability tomaintainclean, safe, and organized work areas.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to meet timelines.

This position requires stooping and lifting. Substantial standing,walking,pushing and or pulling of equipment.
Daily lifting and carrying up to50lbs. up to 10 minutes at a time.

Performing work through repetitive eye/hand coordination
Position requires walking and standing regularly.
Noiselevelin the work environment is usually moderate.
Exposure to heat and cold, dust pollen and fumes.
Must be able to work extended and/or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
