Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family. This position provides an opportunity in a leading retail setting to excel in a customer-focused role, working independently and as part of a team to positively impact the lives of others.
Essential Functions:
- Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and actively resolving service issues.
- Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact, and offer assistance locating items.
- Perform cashier duties accurately, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
- Maintain sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and inventory management.
- Support opening and closing store activities as needed.
- Provide customer support across departments including photo and beauty, ensuring they are stocked and operational.
- Assist pharmacy personnel when needed as part of growth and career development.
- Advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs supporting health.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 16 years of age.
- Physical ability to remain upright for sustained periods, lift up to 35 lbs occasionally.
- Good visual acuity for tasks such as computer use and reading small details.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail or customer service.
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Pay Range:
$15.00 - $19.00 hourly, depending on experience, education, and geography.
