We are seeking a Supply Chain Account Specialist for our First Quality Products company located in McElhattan, PA. This position is responsible for consistently meeting customers’ expectations by ensuring that the supply chain meets their demands. Provides insight and analysis of customer activity to support new product launches, promotions, vendor managed inventory, serviceimprovementsand OTIF requirements. Works directly with the customer and FQ associates toassurecustomer purchase orders are processed accurately and product is delivered on time & complete.
Primary responsibilities include:
Establish andmaintaineffective working relationships with customers to ensure their supply requirements for First Quality Consumer Products are met.
Collaborate with FQ associates including sales, supply planning, demand planning, distribution, transportation, product marketing, commercial finance, PLM, & IT support toanticipateand proactively resolve product flow issues.
Coordinate andparticipatein meetings with the Customers to prevent or resolve problems.
Work withcustomerto determineappropriate product/servicesolutions.
Meet withcustomers to discuss their requirements and concerns, followingthrough withaction on their behalf.
Monitor open order and inventory reports to track progress of open ordersthrough toshipment and receipt at the customer. Work with production planners and demand planners to respond to product shortages so orders ship on time and complete. Immediately notify the customer and sales manager if customer requirements cannot be met.
Use designated VMI tools and processes to maintain inventory at target levels in assignedcustomer’sDCs. Track VMI performance. Lead periodic VMI performance review meetings with VMI customers.
Pull reports as requested by customers,salesor other FQ associates.
Fullyutilizecustomer web sites to meet service requirements. Understand customer scorecards and FQ service reports.
Identifythe causesforpoor results and contribute to corrective action plans.
Work with PLM to manage the launch ofnew itemsand the transition of existing items for assignedcustomers.
Collaborate with Customers to develop product transition plans and evaluate potential shortfalls due to product or packaging delays.
Coordinate the depletion of finished goods and materials, maintainingitem material status asrequired.
Monitor promotions and events for assigned customers. Immediately notify demand planning of any variance to forecast volumes or timing.
Process orders for assigned customers. Demonstrate functional knowledge of FQ orderprocesssystem’s capabilities. Comply withstandard order processing procedures. Assure orders have the correct product, lead time, pricing, ordermultiplesand meet order size requirements. Promptly respond to questions from customers or sales managers.
Create and process customer sample orders and return orders.
Receive and process Customer claims for miss-shipments and damaged goods.
Maintain data for assigned accounts in First Quality’s and in customers’ systems. Adjust as transitions occur.
Monitor product runouts of finished goodsthrutransitions to ensure minimal amount of negativefinancial impact.
Independently managerelationshipand account needs of assigned customer(s) with limited direction from leadership.
Dependent on customer needs,mayberequiredto build a collaborative partnership with multiple contacts across acustomer’ssupply chain and may berequiredtoparticipatein major customer meetings and initiatives.
Manage orders as we are in allocation and effectively communicate availability tocustomer'sreplenishmentbuyers.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field (preferred)
Prior experience in order fulfillment (preferred)
Strong oral and written communication
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
Basic understanding of data analytics
Basic thinking and problem solving skills
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills-especially Excel
Exposure to SAP
