THE ROLE
The Senior Vice President, Enterprise Architecture, Engineering & Development is a visionary technology leader responsible for shaping and executing Legends enterprise architecture strategy, leading software engineering initiatives, and driving innovation through data, analytics, and AI platforms. This role ensures that Legends technology ecosystem is scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals, while fostering a culture of engineering excellence and data-driven decision-making.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enterprise Architecture Leadership: Define and maintain the enterprise architecture blueprint across applications, data, infrastructure, and security; ensure architectural alignment with business strategy, scalability, and emerging technology trends.
- Engineering & Development Oversight: Lead design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance applications and platforms; establish engineering best practices, DevOps pipelines, and agile methodologies.
- Data & Analytics Strategy: Architect and oversee modern data platforms; partner with IQ team for self-service analytics, data governance, and data literacy.
- AI & Emerging Technologies: Drive AI/ML platform adoption for personalization, efficiency, and predictive capabilities; evaluate and integrate emerging tech supporting innovation.
- Team & Vendor Leadership: Build and lead high-performing teams; manage relationships with vendors, cloud providers, and partners.
- Governance & Security: Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards; collaborate with cybersecurity teams to embed security in architecture.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's or master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; MBA or executive education in digital transformation is a plus.
- 12-15+ years progressive experience in enterprise architecture, software engineering, or platform development; at least 5 years senior leadership.
- Proven success in large-scale digital transformation across complex organizations.
- Experience in hospitality, entertainment, or consumer-facing industries is highly desirable.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) and modern architectural patterns.
- Hands-on cloud-native platform experience (Azure, AWS, GCP), CI/CD, containerization.
- Strong data architecture and governance skills; analytics, BI platforms, AI/ML ecosystem knowledge.
- Leadership skills to build cross-functional teams; strategic thinker aligning technology with business goals.
- Experience managing large budgets and vendor relationships.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement; experience presenting to executive leadership and boards.
- Strong understanding of security architecture, privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
