
Your Role
As aTechnical Designer– Critical Facilities – JuniorinGensler’sPhoenix office, you will play a key role in theproduction and delivery of complex, technical projects, with a strong emphasis onRevit-based documentation and precision modeling. This is an ideal position for someone early in their career who is passionate about thetechnical side of architecture.
You are aself-starter and critical thinkerwho enjoys solving problems through detailed execution. What You Will Do
Support theproduction of construction documentswith a strong focus onRevit modeling, detailing, and documentation accuracy
Contribute to the development and refinement oftechnical drawing sets, ensuring alignment with design intent and project requirements
Assistin resolvingcomplex technical and detailing challengesthrough thoughtful, practical solutions
Support the coordination of building systemsby gaining hands-on exposure to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) components within complex building environments, and actively developing your technical understanding of their integration.
Participate in all project phasesfromconceptual design through construction, with an emphasis onDesign Development and Construction Documentation
Collaborate closelywith project teams, including architects, engineers, consultants, and contractorsto solve technicaldesignchallenges by communicating effectively across disciplines and contributing to the delivery of high‑tech, mission‑critical projects through thoughtful problem-solving.
Develop andmaintainRevit standards, workflows, and model integrityacross projects
Produce3D models, diagrams, and technical graphicsto support design communication and coordination
Support coordination with consultants and internal teams to ensureconstructability and technical excellence
Contribute to a culture ofcontinuous improvement, helping refine workflows, tools, and delivery processes
Your Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program, or equivalent professional experience in lieu of a degree.
0–5 years of experience, with a strong interest intechnical design and production
ProficiencyinRevitrequired; experience with complex models and documentation sets preferred
Working knowledge ofconstruction documentation, detailing, and building systems
Familiarity withbuilding codes and accessibility requirements
Strong attention to detail and a passion forprecision and high-quality deliverables
Interest insustainable designand high-performance building strategies
Ability to think critically, troubleshoot issues, and proactively propose solutions
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
