Project Role : Technology Support Engineer
Project Role Description : Resolve incidents and problems across multiple business system components and ensure operational stability. Create and implement Requests for Change (RFC) and update knowledge base articles to support effective troubleshooting. Collaborate with vendors and help service management teams with issue analysis and resolution.
Summary: As a Technology Support Engineer, you engage in resolving incidents and ensuring operational stability across business systems, implementing change requests, updating knowledge bases, collaborating with vendors, and aiding service management teams.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Act as SME, collaborate and manage the team for performance.
- Make team decisions and engage with multiple teams on key decisions.
- Provide problem solutions across teams and facilitate training sessions.
- Monitor and evaluate team performance to align with operational goals.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Enterprise Network Operations.
- Strong understanding of network protocols and architecture.
- Experience with incident management, network monitoring tools, and problem resolution.
- Configure and troubleshoot network protocols like FTP, TFTP, NTP, SNMP, DNS, DHCP.
- Manage Cisco routers and Catalyst switches including STP, Trunking, EtherChannel, IOS.
- Administer F5 Big-IP ADCs physical and virtual appliances.
- Configure Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama including PAN-OS administration.
- Experience in routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, MPLS.
- Ensure high availability using HSRP and VRRP protocols.
- Design and manage AWS networking components including VPCs, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, Route 53.
- Good understanding of Software Defined Network (LAN/WAN).
Additional Information:
- Minimum 5 years experience in Enterprise Network Operations.
- Position based in Bengaluru office.
- Requires 15 years full time education.
