What you'll do:
As a Tool Maker you will be part of a small team responsible for the repair, maintenance and examination of all types of injection mould and metal press tooling.
"• Carry out all fault finding, tool repair, corrections and modification. Ensuring tasks and output is to acceptable standards in accordance with Company Quality Policy and Procedures.
Translation of CAD drawings in order to complete required tooling tasks.Operate equipment and machinery for which they are authorised.General housekeeping of the departmentEnsure that lean manufacturing standards (5S+,documentation standards, standardised working methods, etc.) are observed and sustained.Liaise with other departments/functions ensuring good Team collaborationObserve and adopt safe working practices in accordance with Company health and safety policy, whist adhering to the Eaton Life Saving Rules.Undertake training necessary for development as agreed with the Tool Room Team LeaderParticipate in Continuous Improvement initiatives"Qualifications:"• Formal engineering qualification."
