Cloudflare is seeking a detail-oriented Trust & Safety Legal Response Specialist to join our global team in Washington, DC or New York. This role involves handling legal requests for customer information and conducting account reviews to combat abuse in line with Cloudflare's Terms of Service. Candidates will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and quality in handling requests.
Responsibilities:
- Join a world-class, globally-distributed team.
- Efficiently handle legal requests such as subpoenas and court orders from law enforcement and government officials as well as third-party civil matters.
- Perform operations with high quality and accuracy.
- Collaborate with Public Policy, Legal, and Product Engineering teams to maintain scalable policies and processes.
- Manage time-sensitive escalations calmly and tactfully.
- Participate in rotating weekend coverage duties.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of legal support experience processing user information requests or relevant Trust & Safety experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects.
- Comfortable working with ambiguous situations.
- Excellent team player with a positive attitude.

- Experience with global legal considerations for customer information requests.
- Interaction with law enforcement officials and agencies.
- Familiarity with Cloudflare products and services.
- Working knowledge of DNS and internet operations.
