As an Underwriting Assistant, you will be a part of the Operations Team, providing operational support to the Underwriting Teams and ensuring the delivery of high-quality client service. Your responsibilities will include taking ownership of operational functions, completing core operations tasks accurately, and supporting the achievement of internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Turnaround Times (TATs). This role reports directly to the Operations Team Leader. Key Responsibilities include building and maintaining strong working relationships with Operations and underwriting teams, quality checking booking instructions, completing core Underwriting Assistant tasks with accuracy, updating the Workview system in real-time, engaging proactively with Underwriting Teams, assisting in processing new business, renewals, and endorsements, participating in meetings to improve practices, developing relationships within the organization, supporting projects, and providing training to fellow Underwriting Assistants, all while working within ethical and service standards.
