Summary of Job Duties:

The University Supervisor supports candidates enrolled in a one-year supervised residency by providing ongoing clinical supervision and evaluation. Supervisors travel to partner school districts where candidates are completing their residencies and conduct a minimum of three formal observations per semester.
Each observation cycle includes:
• A pre-conference to review lesson planning and instructional goals
• A formal classroom observation
• A post-conference focused on feedback, reflection, and professional growth
This position is a semester-to-semester appointment and requires collaboration with mentor teachers and program faculty to ensure candidate success and alignment with program expectations.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

Valid Arkansas teaching license
Minimum of three years of P–12 teaching experience
Completion of Cognitive Coaching training
Completion of TESS (Teacher Excellence and Support System) training
