(USA) Technician, General Facilities Maintenance

Position Summary: Join Walmart as a General Facilities Maintenance Technician and be part of a local and regional team performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of Walmart stores, equipment, and fixtures.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining and repairing facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and material handling equipment.
• Utilizing hand and power tools to complete maintenance jobs.
• Using the work order management system to manage repair orders and document activities.
• Responding promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspecting and diagnosing issues in facilities, equipment, or fixtures.
• Completing all required safety training to operate tools and equipment.

Qualifications:

• 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work at heights, and tolerate various temperatures.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and eligibility for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Vocational or Technical certification with 3 years of experience or 5 years of work experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade.

The hourly wage range is $23.00 - $42.00, with additional premiums possible.
