A Variable Compensation Specialist at GuidePoint Security is a detail-oriented and organized individual that supports the Payroll and Human Resource teams and contributes to overall corporate growth. Our Variable Compensation Specialist will be responsible for the accurate payment of all commissions and variable pay components of our compensation plans. The continuing growth of GuidePoint Security allows for our employees to consistently advance their knowledge and experience in our fast-paced atmosphere.
Calculate commissions using the companys commission software program, currently Varicents Incentive Compensation Management
Record commission and variable pay accruals and payments within established timelines
Complete review procedures to ensure accuracy of payments
Review and process documents for completeness and proper approvals as needed
Reconcile commission balances
Other duties as assigned
BA/BS in Accounting or Finance required, or equivalent in work experience
3-5 years commission calculation/accrual experience
Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
Strong MS Excel skills, including pivot tables and csv file uploads
Experience with NetSuite, Varicents ICM (Commission Tracking Software), SalesForce, and UKG is highly desirable
Demonstrates a willingness to learn and use AI-enabled tools
Attention to detail is a must
Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and a demonstrated ability to communicate professionally in both verbal and written forms
Possess the ability to self-manage and adapt to changes, delays, or unexpected shifts in priorities while maintaining focus and productivity in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work flexible work schedule required
