Adventist HealthCare Home Health is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) servicing in our Silver Spring. Rockville or Southern Maryland Territory!

We're seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Physical Therapist (PT), you will:
• Communicates with team members, customers, managers, etc. to coordinate plan of care and provide optimal patient experience.
• Administers physical therapy interventions and treatments according to agency’s accepted policies and procedures.
• Apply and implement appropriate therapy knowledge and plans patient care with appropriate patient goals.
• Completes documentation requirements in a proficient and timely manner.
• Assumes responsibility for personal and professional development.
• Administers and supervises physical therapy treatments to patients with a wide range of health problems under the direct orders of a physician/podiatrist
• Coordinates care patients with other skilled care providers to plan, implement and access treatment programs.

Qualifications include:
• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited physical therapy program
• Maryland Physical Therapy Licensure
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Valid driver’s license with agency insurance requirements
• One to three years’ experience preferred
• One year home care experience preferred

Work Schedule:

• Employment Type: Full-time

• Hours per Week: 40 hrs/week

• Typical Daily Schedule: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Monday through Friday

• Shift Type: Days

• Weekend Requirements: Once per month

• Holiday Requirements: Rotating within the team

Pay Range:

$34.58 - $51.87

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.

Tobacco and Drug Statement
