Position Summary:
The VP will oversee surveillance of Global Atlantic's structured investments including monitoring asset ratings, investment performance, deal activity, and market opportunities. The role requires independent analysis of investment data, effective communication with stakeholders, and formalization of monitoring processes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead rating surveillance for all structured transactions, prepare rating agency packages, coordinate information requests.
- Maintain updated performance and asset data.
- Coordinate with portfolio managers and teams for asset information, manage transaction models, and handle rating agency communications.
- Manage SPV asset performance, monitor tests and triggers, optimize capital structures, and liaise with third party administrators.
- Reconcile monthly cash flows and normalize inconsistencies.
- Serve as main contact for internal teams including Analytics, Risk, Finance, Tax, and Accounting.
- Work with valuation teams on pricing and cash flow support.
- Manage a small team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years relevant experience; Master's degree a plus.
- Understanding of structured asset-based financed investments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; VBA and Visio a plus.
- Ability to work independently and build processes.
Work conditions: Employees work 5 days/week in New York office or 4 days/week in other offices.
Salary Range: $160,000 to $225,000 USD base salary, plus potential bonuses and incentives.
